I have nearly three decades of experience across software, systems, operations, and technology leadership. I write about how businesses can use AI and technology to create measurable value. I start with the problem the business is trying to solve.
I'm an Industrial Engineer who has been developing software since 1998. Today I'm a CTO. I previously served as a technical co-founder, then worked as a Plant Manager, IT Manager, and Project Manager. The combination of hands-on engineering, systems thinking, management responsibility, and independent product development shapes the judgment behind my work.
A useful starting point is not “where can we put AI?” but where a business is losing time, capacity, knowledge, money, or decision quality. AI, software, data, and process design are tools to evaluate once that problem is clear. Sometimes the right answer is to simplify a workflow—or not use AI at all.
I treat AI as one possible intervention for a business problem. I test technology and software decisions against implementation reality, and I look at growth through the combined results of product, experience, technology, and operations—not traffic or campaigns alone.
I am responsible for technology strategy, teams, partners, and architecture, as well as the systems that support digital customer acquisition, sales, and operations. I bring real-time lead routing, AI-supported sales monitoring and management alerts, multichannel communication, payment control, and forecasting into a shared operating structure. I stay close to implementation and evaluate technical decisions alongside their business outcomes.
After managing plant and production operations, I moved into IT, business development, and project management responsibilities. I managed local technology needs and global IT integrations, developed web and intranet applications, and led projects spanning technology, marketing, and operations.
Independent again, between roles — diverse software projects, mostly web.
Co-founded the firm and led IT — built its custom CMS and blog (PHP/MySQL) and an online mystery-shopping and survey platform with real-time reporting.
Where it started — commercial, personal and non-profit web projects across all sorts of languages and technologies.
